    Most reflective wood/paint

OK, let's say I go to Home Depot to pick up some lumber. I'm building the walls for my cab inside a closet... What kind of wood am I lookin' for? Can I use regular ole' plywood?

After I get the wood, what paint do I use? Glossy/matte? Any particular brand?

    Thanks!

Paint should be flat, bright white. Ceiling paint is designed for maximum brightness and would be my choice.
If you are building the box from scratch, those sheets of cheap white particleboard/plastic laminate fake tile shower wall material are very easy to work with and clean. Home dePOT sells the plain white one for WAY less than plywood last time I checked.

Oh wow, I didn't even realise this. So I could use some 2x4's to create the 'skeleton'/frame of the cab, just make the walls out of the laminate stuff, and paint white? That sounds a lot easier than what I was originally picturing...

And while you're in here - White paint is more reflective than mylar, right?

The laminate stuff is coated with white plastic at teh factory and is good for its lightness, reflectivity, and ease of cleaning.
Mylar is more reflective but loses its reflectivity as soon as it gets dirty. I prefer a washable white surface.

So if I used the white laminate stuff, I wouldn't have to paint it?

You'll see what I mean if you find some. It's slap-up-n-go kinda shit.
Look at the walls in my kitchen. That's the stuff. I got it at a discount building supply for $11 per 4x8 sheet.
