Who should I vote for President?

    Dudes,

Let??s get real here, shall we. My biggest concern right now is. Which candidate is going to be our biggest ally in the legalization of medical marijuana on the federal level? I mean come on. How long do we, as a people have to suffer in pain because our government won??t ??let? us self medicate with a medicine we can grow for free. I mean if I could grow vicodin, or percocet in my closet, I wouldn??t care so much. Hey, prescriptions are not cheap. Even with insurance, I??m a forty eight year old man, with my blood pressure, cholesterol, and sugar meds, add pain killers and I??m up to over $250.00 a month. That??s a car payment. When are we going to stand together and say; ??Hey, I??m in pain, and I can??t afford to buy your prescriptions any longer. I demand a federal medical marijuana law?? how many millions of marijuana users are there out there? Even if you only count those of us who use for medicinal reasons, we are quite a force. Again, Which candidate is going to be our biggest ally in the legalization of medical marijuana on the federal level? Think of that when you go to the polls. Or better yet how about more marijuana users even bothering to get off their stoned butts to vote at all. Let??s put someone in the Whitehouse who might consider our needs on this.

Im not realy sure but I think id vote for Obama.. Would be good to see a black president and id like to hope he'd learn to love and evntully start smoking weed, Which would hopefully lead to legalizing cannabis..

Obama, Clinton, Romney, Mccain, they're all the same. Every 4 or 8 years the real political power heads just shuffle these dipshits around, but nothing really changes.
The only person close enough for doing that was Ron Paul.

Personally I think a president who can negotiate us a prompt and dignified exit from the mess in Iraq, and clear up the economy, is top priority. But that's just me.

Marc Emery supports Ron Paul. And I've seen Sundance rate up a few Ron Paul posts (not trying to put words in his mouth tho.).

Ron Paul is definitely not the man to enact medical marijuana legislation. Ron Paul is so extreme right, that it intersects with the the extreme left on certain issues and causes confusion. Ron Paul would oppose giving the federal government more power to enact laws.

As for the candidate most likely to enact medical marijuana legislation....that's rephrase that because there are going to be no allies. But if I had to bet, it would be Obama by a hair. Not more likely to do than Hilldog or McCain.

Vote for who you see as the closest person to your own values and dare I say dreams. I am a staunch liberal and am torn between McCain and Obama, I see both people to speak their minds, even if it is unpopular, I also see both as people to go against thier respective party lines to support an issue that they deem vital to our body of nation. My parents are Democrats and I was raised that way, but I can see the benifits of the republicans and democrats. It sucks that they can't work togather to benifit us all. I want a national medical mj amendment, I also want to know my job isn't going to be shipped overseas to china or india. Social issues are a wash. But most poingintly I want these politicians to know that because their millionaire lifes are easy, that it is not so cool for the rest of us.
