$35 for an 8th of shrooms is crazy, I won't pay more than 25 or maybe 30 if I really want 'em.

Shroomin' season I live in southeast iowa, and there are plenty of cow pastures nearby. i remember when i was in cross country, one day as part of a practice run we ran through one of them, had to dodge all the cow pies. anyway, when should i start looking for shrooms? do any other kinds of mushrooms grow in cow pastures, or can i just take any one i find? what do the "special" ones look like?
