In any properly processed butter, the only thing that would mold is plant material that didnt get filtered out. So,,, in other words,,, it wasn't properly processed if it molded in the freezer. Not sure if anything can truely mold in the freezer. Scrape it, cook it and eat it. Have fun.

I've got some cannabis butter that's been in the freezer for about 8months and has a mouldy substance on top of it and the whole thing smells a bit, well, cheesy. Would I be Ok to just scrape the stuff off and give it a rinse under the tap or am I risking serious food poisoning? There's a fair bit of butter and it's really good stuff, so i'd be loathe to throw it away, and I'm thinking that it's going to be heated pretty hot in the pan when I melt it anyway - plus each portion that's Rating: 5
