Disposable credit cards?

OK, I'm a young fellow and haven't gotten a credit card yet - so how can I go about buying things online? I have heard that I buy preloaded credit cards at stores like Wal*Mart, is this true?

yea. they have been around for a long time. i got one from my moms friend for my bday. $25!!!!!!! wooooot!!!! lol

they are like gift cards that u can use anywhere that expects credit cards and the type u get (like visa).

u dont put a billing address. u just get the one and then pay for it(adds the money onto the card)

they are already set to a set price( 25, 50, 100 etc.)
idk if u can out how ever much u want like 35.75 for example

the only problem is with some u can only use if u have enough money. like if u are getting something that is 23.45 u can use it if it only has 20 in it and then pay cash to cover the rest. i know with some u can or at some places. just be prepared to pay with something else
