the light is a sunleaves pulsar mini
the ballast and reflector are all one unit, (not ideal i know but im not really having problems with heat)
i paid $100 for it used and i don't like shopping online...paper trails
its covering about 2.3 sq feet in a small dresser converted into a grow box, so i think i have enough light , thats about 125w per square foot. i think the size pot i used was also a factor because the plant was def. root bound.
philips or hortilux you say?
time to do some shopping.....
