Its will cause hermies obviously, although through my flower cycle i have been in my grow room with a small flash light to check on things sometimes, and ive done it at least 8-10 times in the flower cycle [cuz i had issues i had to attend too] but none of my plants ever hermied, so the chance that your plant may hermie could be very very slim, but still, its a possibility so why risk it
