Methadone clinics in Sacramento

Does anyone know if methadone clinics in Sacramento test for use of weed? I was hooked on Norco and Vicadin for 2 years And now go to a methadone clinic for pain and is safer then Norco and vicadins! But they test once a month which i have been getting around! I just started smoking weed again because it helps my pain, allso helps my anxiety disorder! But can't aford the 100 to 200 bux to get legal As my reg doctors won't write me a letter! Not because they don't think it will help but because they say its against there policy and one doctor says he is not trained in herbal medicene! I think there scared myself!! So i have to smoke between my 30 day piss test and stop at least 10 days before i think or guess they are going to do my monthly piss test! I am not even sure if the methadone clinics test for weed though! Does anyone out there know?imp:

Actually, He's not talking about the other drugs. This thread is about cannabis and it's interaction with his legal prescriptions, and drug testing for cannabis. Perfectly OK in my opinion.

Bad spelling aside (vicodin not vicadin), yeah this thread is ok for now as it is mainly about the MJ and how to keep smoking it and not really asking for advice on the opiates.

I don't know but I can use some common sense here. Since methadone clinics are tightly regulated and some doctors don't approve of MJ use I would guess that testing positive for THC would have negative consequences. I don't know if stopping for 10 days would be enough time either because everyone is different. Diluting may not be an option as it may dilute your methadone levels and you look like your doing something wrong.

Here's what I would do. Stop smoking until you get your first test. See if it is going to be unobserved, observed (an observed test would be where they watch the flow of urine leave the body and enter the cup) or monitored (used to secure a multi stall bathroom or sinks can't be turned off they are in the doorway of bathroom but not in the stall). If it is unobserved or monitored, stay clean of THC and make some clean from THC but not clean from methadone urine and freeze it. Then be prepared to sub for future drug tests. After about a year replace your supply of frozen urine.

Can't you go to one of the compassion clinics and get weed?
Or change doctors. They can give you names of doctors that will work with you.

I feel for you. I was on methadone for pain and I hated it not to mention there has been a 400 % increase in methadone deaths. It is so hard to tell you've taken too much until it is too late. Please be careful. I have been lucky enough to get away from the pills and I just use weed to control pain.

No MMT clinics in the state of Cali test for weed.That is the best thing a person can do if you have a pain issue,at least that is my option.I've been on Methadone for years,so I would not lead you down the primrose path my friend.They r worried about Vicadins,ect.,not pot.Go herbal:thumbsup::hippy:

I use methadone for pain as well.
They test for pretty much everything but weed.
My doctor is pretty cool with me using cannabis anyway,since it helps my pain,and he's a pain specialist

I take methadone at the methadone clinics as well for my chronic pain. I also smoke pot for medical reasons and they never said anything to me about it. Then I started feeling guilty and everything for not being honest and I told them I was smoking pot. The nurses told me that they test for opiates only in the urine. Hope that helps.
