not really a co-op, but....
i know this isn't about a co-op, but i figured this was probably as good a place as any to post this. i'm not to up-to-date on the whole legality thing in canada, but i was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible legally to open up a coffee shop in canada? i just got back from amsterdam and the coffee shops were so sweet, and i thought one in canada would probably be a good idea, but i really don't know how legal or illegal marijuana is over there. i just know it's more legit there than here in the US of A.

Hello,
Opening a coffee shop that sells cannabis is probably not the best idea at this point because you would get yourself arrested and charged really fast! Currently, you do have the option to get a licence to possess from Health Canada via a designated grower. If you are looking for a someone to walk you through the steps, let me know.
