I have 4 remaining to dry, so I'm hoping for 3 more oz. The biggest one and the ex mother (which was a huge bush with tons of small but dense buds) will be the last to dry. I should have two done drying tomorrow and then the last two the day after. Doing it in shifts just kind of happened, but I'm glad we did it this way. Made managing 8 plants a lot easier. My drying temp has been 67-69 and the humidity from 42-51% and they have been taking about 4 days to dry until the stems snap.

I gutted my room and cleaned it out tonight and then set it all back up, so tomorrow at 8 PM my next flowering cycle starts. I cut the drain down on one side down a little more because it was still holding too much water, so hopefully my problems with that are over. My roots are a lot different this time around, I think because I vegged with a dark cycle. They are a LOT more spread out and less dense and blocky. I think am also going to have to combat height and distance from the bulb this time around as these clones got insanely huge insanely fast. They are already 22" tall and I only have about 40" of vertical space, and 35" of space between the top of the bin and the bulb. I did try FIM'ing the tallest ones about a week ago, but I really don't know if I did it right. It always seems like none of the pictures ever look like what my plants look like. We shall see though.

I am also using base nutes only this time around to hopefully avoid weird levels of nutrients I may or may not have been getting last time. I plan to start using a small amount of Sweet at week 4 until flush. I have also been running on water only for the past week, mainly to take the nutes away so they would stop growing, but also to help curb the salt buildup I got last time.

I am pretty excited about this grow. I'm hoping for a big yield so I can take some time off from doing it for a month or so. The weekly res changes get pretty tiring, but the hard work is definitely worth not having to depend on the black market anymore.
dejayou30 Reviewed by dejayou30 on . Second Go 'Round - 8 Master Kush I have 8 Master Kush plants at 48 days into flower; about a week from harvest. I had a few troubles this grow such as fungus and slime in the bottom of my flood trays because of poor drainage, which was causing all sorts of problems. I had my first pest, the fungus gnat, and No Pest Strips did nothing about it. I still have a few that I see around, but cleaning the entire system completely and then flushing with water and H2O2 and a hanging a sticky fly strip took care of the vast majority. Rating: 5
