I find that a lot of the mainstream mags are full of braindead fluff... and I am a young, straight male. Treating Yourself sounds good, thanks for the heads up stormcrow!

I haven't read High Times in a couple of years, but it was much better in it's early days with lots of information and articles geared toward understanding the use and history of weed and psychedelic drugs. It also covered related cultural and political issues.

I've read a couple issues of high times and was not particularly impressed. Bud porn, and advertising aimed SOLELY towards straight males. Dude. I spend inordinate amounts of money on seeds and grow supplies too... but the bikini chick just isn't doin' a thing for the Stink.

HT was great in the early days.
Then it went downhill.
Then it was cool again for a while.
Then not again.
Then it was better, but still not great.

then it went back downhill.
Now it seems to be getting better again, but I agree with stinky.
As long as they need the monkey spank advertising and the strip club attitude to make it a financial success, it just won't have the respect of the intelligent stoner community.
