    Cabinet Grow

    Hello,
I am new to this forum but not new to growing. I was wondering what you guys thought about this setup and if it could work, outdoor is not an option because i live in the city.

I have a 120 watt flouro (shown in the pic) which fits perfectly in the cabinet. Then i was going to wire a 120 mm computer fan into the side of the cabinet once i figure out how to wire it. The last thing i was going to do was put silver mylar stuff around the whole inside.

So what do you think? would that be the best way? I am doing it in just regular soil, maybe canna coco.

    Thanks for your response.

that floro setup should be just fine in there,

mylar is great stuff but gets dirty fairly fast and looses its reflectivity if not cleaned regularly.

instead of using a pc fan i would go with a 6" booster fan from home depot for 25bucks, but pc fans will work, the pc fans also seem noisier to me than the booster fans,

good luck on your setup and cant wait to see some babies in there

During flowering, you need to make sure there are NO light leaks. In a cabinet, there's always the potential for light leaks, since they aren't built to be light-proof.

thanks for that advice, i think im just going to keep this as my clone/seedling place, i set up a 3' high, 2' wide, and 30" deep box that i am going to grow in, it is completely sealed and there is new air in there every 30 seconds.
im gonna set up a 1000 watt air cooled hps on top of the cabinent for flowering then a 600 watt mh for veg.
