when to start using bloom nutes?

i was wondering when do you use bloom nutes? right when you see pistoles or when you turn your light to 12/12? also do you have to flush before you use your bloom nutes?

I stick with the veg nutes for about 2 weeks into 12/12...and I don't flush...unless, I burn something.
