FBR!!! this may be to much to ask but could you.....
Someone else told you about the cranberry juice right and when I asked them why it was helpful they never responded did they?
I wish you would keep everything in one thread so I could go back and look at your stats but I think you are about average useage with 35 days till testing. Settle down and calm your nerves as it isn't helping to be freaked out.
Many foods have nutritional guidelines on the back of the package. Read them and look for soluble fiber content. For things like fruit and vegatables, either they don't have labels on them unless canned or frozen but some produce sections have like little flip guides for nutritional content. If not, there's this thing called the internet that can help you find the soluble fiber content of apples or bananas or lettuce or handfuls of whole wheat.
Try to keep your caloric intake at or under your normal intake that would maintaint your weight. For all posters: Most women can maintain their weight at a caloric intake of 2000-2500 calories per day while men need 2500-3000 per day to maintain. Some will say as high as 3500 calories per day but I'm going to play conservative. Try to get about 25% or less or your calories from fat with the rest from protein and carbs. So you should consider total calories as well as calories from fat. If you are eating 2000 calories a day but eating 1500 calories of butter your not doing it right. This is leading up to the test. Then 2-5 days before the test switch to normal calories to maintain to maybe 10% above and slightly increase percentage of fat from calories. Always keep up the high soluble fiber.
Don't replace smoking with bing drinking. In short, because you have a month and not a week you can enjoy alcohol in moderation.
If you aren't going to sub and you have a month, buy some test strips online for cheap. Try auction sites and search engines to find other choices.
