I listened to dark side of the moon when i was tripping, it scared the shit out of me

I was tripping on shroomed weed when I heard Comfortably Numb, and all I can remember is that I understood something about the song that I never had before. The next day I woke up and couldn't remember what it was.

Fav album would have to be The Wall, fav song Comfortably Numb.

I saw a pink floyd cover band last saturday, Several Species, ever heard of em? They were pretty good, got like every song down exactly. I love animals, dark side of the moon, and of course the wall

Was that the austrailian cover band? I wanna see them. I love pink floyd they're my fav band of all time. I know every album and basicaly everything about them. A lot of people just like darkside or the wall but if you want to experience the true floyd aura you must listen to their older stuff, like pipers at the gates of dawn and obscured by clouds (which is my 2nd fav album) My fav album although without waters, is division bell, i love that album its so kool to chill when you're stoned and listen to it. Best songs imo are probably echoes, shine on you crazy diamond and marooned. Also the first song from atom heart mother, 10 minutes in the guitar solo is absolutely amazing especially while you're stoned. Gilmour is god! Imo pink floyd = best band ever.

Wish u were here is a great album, prolly my fav of the ones ive heard, in fact every song on that album is a fav of mine.
That fat old sun from atom heart mother is 1 of the few songs i like on that album.
dark side of the moon of course is a great album. Gotta love time, and money, and pretty much everything else on that album.
The wall, yet another great one, cram packed with hits like hey you, and the very relaxing Comfortably numb.
Echoes from meddle is another fav of mine.
Ive only heard a little bit of the first two albums, but i want to hear more.

That's probably the best Floyd song no one's ever heard

I like everything Floyd up until The Wall. To me, that album is not really Pink Floyd, but rather Roger Waters's first solo album, featuring David Gilmour. I'm not saying it isn't good, there' some amazing stuff on it, but to me it's just the beginning of the end of Pink Floyd.

However, everything that comes before that is pure gold. My favorite songs are Astronomy Domine, Interstellar Overdrive (fucks you up when stoned), Careful with that Axe Eugene (Creepy!!), Echoes, everything on Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and Animals.

ah i havent heard to much of rodger waters stuff but from relics im pretty sure the ones with him in it where the ones that werent really to my taste.
