i actually agree with bush on this one (i surprised myself, i checked my temperature to make sure i was feeling alright ). all is being proposed is the option for people to set up personal retirement accounts, its not forceing people into them, those that dont want them can remain paying into the current program. i know theres a bunch of debate about actually when social security will be bankrupt but i consider that to have little to do with the propsed the reform, the reform propsosals and my understanding about it is about choice, and im always in favor of choice. i personally wont want a personal retirement account, id prefer to pay in to the current system cause i dont want to gamble my retirement in the stock market, but just cause i dont want to doesnt mean those who do shouldnt have the option to.
