Go with an extended dark period, NOT an extended light, as that prolly will confuse the plant if not stress her.

48 hrs of darkness signals the plant that it is time to flower.

melodious fellow Reviewed by melodious fellow on . Light Cycle Switching Question Currently I have my plants on a 18/6 getting ready to go 12/12 in a day or two. Right now I am running the lights during the day and I am wanting to run them at night while flowering. Before I switch to 12/12 can I put the plants in an extended period of darkness? Or should I make the switch by an extended period of light? Any help? Rating: 5
