    Howdy ride,

It will do for a start, but you have a long way to go,and the plant will need fresh air and circulation,an oscillating fan will help alot..eventually,you will need more light as well..especially during flowering. Without a fan and lights being close to the plant..it will stretch and be too weak to support much weight.

You should go to overgrow.com and read the growfaq..it has articles about all the basics and advanced topics.

    Have a good one....

    Howdy ride,

You could use the other lights, after the plant gits established and on the 3rd node. An oscillating fan,is simply one that sweeps back and forth,it helps to simulate an outdoor breeze and strengthens the stem and branches, which also helps to keep the plant shorter and stouter. It als helps to replenshish the air supply and co2 supply, around the plant and on the surface of the leaf..kinda like breaking water tension down, the air on the leaf surface, can achieve a certain degree of surface tension.

    Howdy ride,

I'm glad to help You should put the fan far away enough, that it moves all of the plants, but not so far away that it has little effect, obviously, you don't want the fan to be so strong, that it looks like a hurricane blowing on the plants..lol,but close enough to make them sway like a gentle to moderate breeze. You can start using the fan carefully,as soon as the seeds sprout and you have a small seedling, later, after they have matured and grown, you can increase the effect of the fan.

Have you read the growfaq at overgrow.com yet ? You should read every faq related to the entire cycle of growth..there are other grow faq's,as well, almost every site related to marijuana, has one. Once you've taught yourself the basics, through study and actual experience, then you can look into more advanced means and methods.

    Have a good one...

with those compact fluorescents you should have them as close to the plants as possible, especially at this stage,

unless theres some kind of additional heat, it won't burn the plant.. CFL's give off minimal heat..
