Chicken Wire Cage
What would happen if someone had a 14-16 inch plant that was just done vegging and they put it in a chicken wire cage that is about 20 inches tall while putting it on a flowering cycle.
This is if someone has a VERY cramped growing space and wants the biggest plants they can get. With this cage idea, they can put their flo lights about an inch away from the plant and the leaves will (in theory) not get burned, while the plant continues to grow.
Also, how much can a person expect a a small plant (14-16 inch) after veg to grow during the flowering stage, they mostly grow vertically right during flowering right? Like a couple inches?dontbugme Reviewed by dontbugme on . People, myself included grow with screens all the time. There are may to see in this forum. It is a great idea for most everybody, especially those with cramped quarters. It helps all the light to be used, or taken up with buds instead of air.
Depending, they can double or triple in size once you go to bud mode.
I don't know, 1.5 oz?

What would happen if while in flowering mode the plant reaches the top of the screen, do the buds just start growing around corners and anywhere they can find space?

Here, check this out for some screen discussion and examples:

Normally you want to flower after the plant has already reached the screen and filled in more than half with bud sites. The screen helps position buds optimally, and helps hold them up too.
