ive never heard of this either but imagine if it worked wow
youd get 6 days growth in 5 days time

My guess would be that it would make no noticeable difference or that would be the norm... I have heard this proposed on these boards in the past, yet don't remember anyone shouting out about great results.


You mat be able to add more "days" into your grow, but they would be shorter days...

Flowering for 60 days at 12/12 = 720/720 hrs (60 light/dark cycles)
Flowering for 60 days at 10/10 = 720/720 hrs (72 light/dark cycles)

Theres a breif paragragh in Gerorge Cervantes book about growers flowering under 18hr days with 12hrs of light and 6hrs dark. They claim that growth isn't diminished and that their getting 25% more weed in the same amount of time.
