Lower Proof GD

I was wondering if i use a lower proof alcohol like 80 or something would I just need to use more alcohol to make sure there is enough in there for the THC to dissolve or should i just wait till i can get my hands on higher proof. Also I was looking to do just a small amount maybe a gram just for a one time shot to see if i can do this and was wondering how much alcohol to use.

Well... as lower the proof of the alcohol, more water it contains, and the water difficults the THC extraction. So, using such low proof alcohol you would need too much alcohol to extract enough THC from the weed. And the extraction would take much more time.
I suggest to wait until you get higher proof alcohol, cause the results will be far more rewarding and enjoyable :stoned::stoned::stoned::thumbsup:

I'm not much of a cook, but couldn't you just boil some of the water off?

It wouldnt work, as the alcohol evaporates first than water... it would only lower more the grade of the alcohol...
