MRO Question

I took my drug test 1-21-08. It was sent off to a lab called atn.I check the status on line on their web site. The results were reported 1-22 in less than 24 hours. My test was a 9 panel test. For the results review it has on the form ndot w/all review. I guess this is for the MRO. It is now 1-25 more than 4 days since I took the test and I have heard nothing. My employer has not heard nothing yet either. What is your opinion. The medical center said my employer would receive the results in 24-48 hours. This MRO is holding up my start date along with me firing one up after being clean for 50 days.

Keep up the faith...bad results usually come faster than good ones. "All-Review" means the MRO needs to review all negative or positive results. Some MRO's only have to review the positive results...company preference I believe. Things get delayed, lost etc. Maybe the MRO is holding up the process. I've read posts of people waiting a long time. Play it cool..don't keep asking and keep your stash at bay...just in case something really got lost and you need to re-test.

Testing, MRO's don't review negative results period. It's a waste of time and money.

Slantedeyes, that is unusual for you not to here back after taking it on Monday and it being Friday but not unheard of. Maybe they was a back up at the lab or in the shipping or whatever. If nothing on Monday maybe check with the HR department and make sure it is good on their end or they can check to make sure the lab didn't screw up and hasn't sent in the results. It's probably not the MRO's fault especially if it is negative and it's probably out of the hands of the collection site.
