As a jew under the age of 18 i have not yet seen the movie. I refuse to belive that a fervant beliver in a jewish subcult would deliberatley whip up antisemitic descrimination. (the subcult i am refering to is christianity for anyone reading this stoned) As I have seen and heared the movie is incredibly violent and as the newtestament records it, jesus's death was incredibly violent, acording to eye witness reports he would have died in incredible agony and immense physical torment. This was the fault of jewish leaders, they feared a balance in there power and the fault of the romans who feared trouble from the rebellious province of judea. The jewish leaders were acting in the best way the saw for political stability. Think how christain leaders would react if a man claimed to be christ returned, people started to follow him and churchs lost their power, they would declare the man and his followers heritics. But in those days a religious problem was a political problem, and problems were removed.
