Travel ban on nuclear scientists Iran, they are not allowed to leave the country. Sounds like a well thought out strategy to me, I mean they might go to a physics conference somewhere in America and learn how to build bombs.

I dont think so... the knowledge of how to make atomic bombs the countries has not is not physical knowledge, but technological knowledge. The physics behind the atomic bomb is well known since much before 1945... the atomic "secrets" are how to make the devices to apply the known physics principles to make the atomic bomb... for example, in industrially enriching uranium, what must be the size of the gas chambers, or the number of gas filters, etc, this things that cannot be devised by the physics alone, but need the help of several branches of technology.

I think most physics symposiums these days are on the subject matter of how we can manipulate/compress energy, not so much why we can.

Yet another ineffectual UN resolution.
