Hello all....

I am writing this question due to I don't have a thermometer that will measure the temperature which should be "room temperature". The only thing I have to use right now is a baby thermometer, which does not register below 90 degrees.

I am practicing with water doing the sub thing (female version of insertion). I have less then 2 weeks to master this if I am going to use it. I am wondering what the "average" time frame for the temp to get to room temperature from the fridge and/or from room temperature to passing temperature of the body. If someone can help give me a ball park figure I would appreciate it. Is there a particular rate of degrees increase for each minute like there is when the urine cools down. Any and all suggestions about getting temps right would be appreciated.

On the day of test I will be thawing out a sample of my own diluted "clean" urine and using that. I'm still practicing, reading and trying to figure this out as I go along.
