Noobie Growing Questions(Need Help)

I have a variety of questions before I start growing and well I can't exactly just walk up to any place and request some help for growing if you get what I mean. So I hope some of you can help me with my lacking knowledge of growing.

1st: Where would one get the supplies for growing in a 3x4 Area?
2nd: What happens to the female if "she" does get pollinated?
3rd: Whats the price range im going to be looking at for a good grow?
4th: What are the stages and how many weeks does it take to get to the stages?

1. Supplies are found online, ebay or a hydroponics store or a local nursery of plant store, hell even most stuff can be found in walmart..i hate that store..lol...
2. The female if pollinated will grow and produce seeds, you dont want that unless you want seeds for your next grow.
3. Hummm..if yo start small maybe $100 to start, depends on what kind of lights-CFL's or High Pressure Sodium (expensive). Soil is cheap, pots are cheap and fans are cheap.
4. First stage is popping your seeds(2-10 days), then your veggin stage (2-6 weeks depending on the size you want), then blooming stage, when the budz show up (6-10 weeks depending on strains) Indica strains are fastest 6-8 weeks...Sativas are longer(8-11 weeks). Get your self a good grow book at any book store or High Times. Skunk, Cannabi Culture Magazines, they will help out too.

Okay now when im buying High Pressure Sodium how suspicious am I going to look? Hell I don't even know what its used for lol. Yeah grow book...I think I have one but its for small to big commerical uses so I guess ill have to down size it with my own theory lol. Thanx for the help though man

When you buy the light, as long as you don't say anything revealing, it'll be fine. That's what hydroponics stores are for. also, dont worry even if you do look suspicious... remember, its a hydroponics store, so at least one, if not all of the employees will already know what ur up to (if you look like me hehe), and probably even be doing it themselves. FYI, those lights are mainly used for growing hydroponic vegetables. I've even been able to ask my questions about growing at the store if I use vague wording and mention "tomatoes" often lol. Make sure you get an appropriate size for your space as well. If its like 3x4 Id suggest a 600watt bulb. dont make the same mistakes as me:

1. make sure you thoroughly clean and prepare your space BEFORE setting anything up; believe me, its a hell of a bitch to get done and then have to get reflective material up.

2. PREVENT LIGHT LEAK. What i mean is make sure that when its dark in your space, it STAYS dark. even an incandescent bulb can cause you problems if you leave it on for too long (like 5 mins even) when the "tomatoes" are in the dark period.

3. make sure your setup is conducive to proper care. what i mean this time is dont use a setup that you wont be able to manipulate on your own without help. luckily, i have a partner in "tomato" cultivating, so my mistake was easily fixed.

4. do plenty of research... check this out, its a link from this site to the only literature you will ever need: Marijuana Grower's Handbook there was a better link to the actual ebook, but i couldnt find it.

I found if you dont ant ay attention buy most of your supplies online...you can find cheap lights on ebay, sometimes and no one will know...peace

Between home depot and a decent garden center or farmers supply, you should be able to assemble a perfectly respectable grow room with the addition of just a HID light.
IMHO it's safer to walk into a grow shop and pay cash for a light than it is to buy one online, where your payment info and shipping addy are recorded. If you are sketchy about the grow shop, borrow your mom's car for the day (unless she has a grow at her house too lol).

Funny thing about my mother...she does grow and she and my father have about 12 beautiful plants in their basement lol but yeah I can ask my parent's friend who also grow "tomatoes :O" lol So k thanx for the help yeah I already cleaned the area and its pretty cool but what im curious about is I have a basement window and im afraid someone might get curious and look in there...could I just paint the window black?

oh yeah and if you do want to order online get a preloaded credit card, they dont ahve ay info on them except your cash amount that you load on them..walmart and gas stations have them...I should have said this before but Ive used them sine they came out, Ive ordered seeds, light and grow supplies on them and there is no record of my info anywhere...peace

The Panda Film that grow shops sell is good for covering cellar windows to keep out unwanted light and nosy lawn-jockeys.
