Weed and Grades

well, for tests i would not want to be high, or when i'm at school for that matter, but reading and studing is good.....i mean if you can remember it when your stoned then when the exam comes (and your sober) you'll defenatly remember it.

I'm sorta in the middle. I've never had much motivation to do well in school simply because I think that every subject is almost a complete waste of my time. I'm going into Psychology, not fucking astrophysics or whatever...haaaa....I such at math. But, when I started smoking, my GPA was the highest it had been in a while (2.9). I'm not sure why.

Anyway, since I've started smoking almost every day, my grades are MEEH. I'm failing my two math classes (I've told my mom that I'm failing Geometry because I don't want to try because I HATE that class, I'm actually doing OKAY in my Algebra class (I'm a Junior!!) right now because I've been doing homework.) I failed my U.S. History class because we had this field trip at the start of the semester, and I missed 2 big packets of worksheets (about 12 worksheets in all) and I never got over losing some of them. Forgot where I put them....^_^
In all my other classes I did C+ or better.

But, I have a lot of wasted talent. I'm known to almost everyone to be really smart, like coming into the class and not paying attention at all but getting at least a B on the test.

One last thing, if I had to make a very educated guess, I'd have to say about 85 or so percent of the student body smokes pot. I'm in a very smart school, but a very big druggie school.
We've had people who go to Harvard, and they smoked too.

My school career is sort of up and down. Lemme put it this way.

When I get a good grade, I "celebrate."

When I get a poor grade, I "comfort myself."

When I'm in between grades, I "pass the time."

I've been smoking tons of weed since senior year of high school (currently a sophomore in college), and since I got to college I've been smoking even more and yet got a 3.9 GPA during all three of my semesters so far. I really have no clue how I'm getting so many A's. Some of the grades I've gotten have just completely baffled me considering how much I've slacked off to toke up. I don't know what's going on but hey, it's working for me.

I get high everyday. Sometimes up to 7 times a day. I get straight A's and I'm involved in many other things. (DECA, SNOWBOARD TEAM, GUITAR), Stoner fucking pride.

I usually smoke once a week, but I've taken a break for the past two weeks... and my grades have gone down

Mind you, I've always believed that I've gotten dumber after smoking on weekends... now I'm kicking myself because my grade in Math has dropped 10 points, and I can't bring it up by the end of the quarter

my grades improved, since i started. i think it was mostly to keep my parents off my back, but i like to say weed was the cause .

my grades dropped a little when i started toking in school hours/regularly. I think it was also comibined with becoming more apathetic with age, and weed making me lazy.
