Help Please - Quick Question

Okay, so I have an interview this afternoon and have an inside track that the job is mine. This is actually a follow up interview with the HR Dept. My inside source told me that the job is mine.

Here is my problem. I am a pretty frequent smoker. Found out about this interview this past Friday and it was my last time partaking. Now... I went to GNC and bought some Strip NC and drank it on Sunday afternoon. I work out 5 days a week and also take creatine and quite a few other supplements daily. Anyway, I bought a home drug test last night at CVS and took it about 9:30. I passed it. The THC line was rather faint, but the box said that it didn't matter if it was faint or not, it's still a negative test. I also as a precautionary measure purchased some Quick Fix 4.0 as well. My question is, do you think I need it?

I'm 6 feet tall and 215 lbs.

Also, I thought I might need to add the fact that I drink a ton of water. I don't know if this will cause a dillution effect on the home test and then possibly cause me to fail the lab test.

That's why you should use the first void of the day to test yourself with. Passing the first void of the day is a better guide then later on in the day. Do you drink more than 40 ounces of water every 3 hours? You should have saved your money on the Strip and the home test and just gone with the Quick Fix. Well at least you have some now.

Yeah, I knew that if you do the first void of the day is more indicative of whether or not you can pass. However, since I know that I am not going to be tested until early afternoon, I figured it didn't much matter. I bought the Strip, some crap called the Dual Chem combo from another website and the at home tests before I found this site. This site led me to the Quick Fix though.

I don't know how much water I drink. It's one of the only two fluids I put into my body. Water & Milk. I drink probably 5-6 16 oz. bottles daily. My urine is usually crystal clear, but when I tested last night, it was quite yellow.

But you still didn't really answer my question. Should I be okay, or should I go ahead and use the Quick Fix?

I know I didn't answer you yet, I wanted to find out how much this "I drink a lot of water" was.

It's not a matter of taking the home test when you think you are going to take the actual test. Since you can't consume liquids while you're asleep, by using the first void it gives an accurate test on a concentrated sample. If you take it later in the day it may be affected by fluid consumption during the day. 80-96 ounces of water during the day is nothing out of the ordinary. You probably will pass the real test but since you didn't use the first void, there's always the possiblity that you may have a problem. Normally 99% of people who pass the home test pass but I would give you a 90 because you used the evening sample.

Okay, well I happened to buy two tests. I have the other one unused. Should I try it again today? I am leaving work at 12:00 and my interview is at 1:30. Maybe I should take right before I go to interview? I appreciate all your useful knowledge.

I took another home test today at about a half an hour ago and passed it as well. I think I can pass the lab test, but will probably take the Quick Fix as a precautionary measure. Wish me luck, ppl.

Okay, so second interview is over and I haven't had to pee yet. They said it will take about a week before I hear back from them so it will give me an extra week to get it out of my system. I have taken two at home test already and both were negative, but another week of abstinence and only help my cause.
