Anyone in the Roaring Spring area??
Hey everyone. I am really new to PA. I visited this summer and moved out here from Oregon to be near my girlfriend.
I live in Roaring Spring which is pretty close to Altoona. Is there anyone remotely close to that out here?surfhippy74 Reviewed by surfhippy74 on . Anyone in the Roaring Spring area?? Hey everyone. Anyone in the Roaring Spring area??
Thanks
Two hours isn't so bad. Are you familiar with this area at all? There isn't anything around here and not much to do.
I am a disabled vet and my girlfriend works all day so I need to find something. Playing the PS3 all day isn't so fun by yourself after a while.
Any ideas?

The only thing I remember about that area was the smell of the chemicals from the paper plant. I'm a little over an hour away.

Ah well if you can't get out of the house.... there isn't much to do in roaring springs...
Altoona pretty much has shopping areas... and farmland to my memory.

There's plenty to do here in western Pa. Pick up a new hobby, learn a new language, read, write a book, get a pet, make friends, get out and do something.

Thanks,
Yeah, I live right down the street from the Paper plant, luckily the wind usually blows the other direction.
I play guitar and a couple of other things.
I kinda got on here to make some friends or try to. I love driving too, but I got nowhere to go yet.
