    Harvest - Day 56 (03/02/2008)

Plants were already cut by the time I got over there, so all pictures are cut plants. The buds are incredibly dense. I am very happy with how they matured in the last weeks of flowering. Even with all of the problems in mid-flower, these beauties finished like champs and made me wonder how the next, non-problematic batch will go

The plant on the left (in the first few pictures) was the heaviest yielder. This was the one that had all side branching cut for the lower half of the plant. The total length of the cola is about 18" and about 3" in diameter (about the size of a 1-liter bottle). Coming in at 13oz, we should pull 3-4oz dry from that one alone. We didn't weight everything else, but it looks like it will be about 7oz when dried.

Also, I didn't resize these pictures as much as before. I wanted to leave these a little larger for detail.

I recently found out that a friend of mine had grown the original Apollo 11 from Brothers Grimm. He told me that it had a strong lemon scent and flavor and was a very speedy, sativa high. From what he told me, I know that these plants definitely show more of the Apollo 11 phenotype with the lemon scent, leaf-shape, and plant growth in flowering. The only difference is the high, with this bud having a much more sedate stone after the initial somewhat speedy high.

Well, you know what they say about trying to predict yield?

The 7oz prediction is based on the assumption that they'll lose 75% of their weight. I think these might be really heavy with water, but only time will tell.
