    Day 1

I have smoked every day (without missing a single day) for 2 years now. Today is my first day not smoking, as classes begin tomorrow, and you know what? Besides feeling sober and having a moderate amount of pain than usual, I don't feel a damn bit different. I haven't craved weed at all today, despite being on the boards, grinding up some other stuff, and pressing keif.

I thought it would be worse... :stoned:

I had the same surprise some time ago, when i had a break... i thought it would be awful, but it wasnt.
Also, once a friend of mine said the mere act of grinding the weed and rolling a joint were enough for make him barely high... at that time i was a newbie and couldnt understand him, but now after some years it also happens with me... whenever i handle weed i feel slight relaxed, a bit calmer, and as if i were barely high... so the fact you handled weed may had helped also.

Kind of- it's the first week of classes, and to be honest, my first time resuming full-time classes in a year, and I want to ease into things as clear-headed as possible.

I'll smoke on the weekends, as a reward for doing well in school. My tolerance has begun to climb more drastically to the point where an actual high only lasts one and a half hours, and I'd like to try to reverse that.

man, its always good to take a little break just to clear your head and get your priorities straight. hopefully your classes go well. its good that you have dedication enough to succeed by dropping the herb for a while. best of luck

I can't remember what they were doing to me, but, when a nurse asked if something bothered me, and, I gave her an undecided answer, she asked if I could feel it. I said, "Yes," to which she replied, "Well, then it bothers you."

You don't feel fine. You just feel life.

Other than that, you shouldn't notice a thing.

I was going to take a break before classes started too, but I just ran out of my sleeping pills and I dont think I'm going to be able to go through with it. I'm kind of disappointed, but I guess this just isnt the right time for a break. Good luck with yours!
