vaping dead spider mites?
this sounds disgusting, but what else can I do?
The mites on my PPP are not moving, they are clearly deceased... due to an application of neem a week or so ago. I plan to cut this baby in a few days, but with a loupe I can see little teensy dead mites on the buds...
Is it better to smoke dead mites or to vape them:wtf:
Would it be possible to knock the miserable buggars off with a spray from the hose, or would that just mess up the trichs? Is it unhealthy to vape this weed with these itty bitty corpses on it?Demeter Reviewed by Demeter on . vaping dead spider mites? this sounds disgusting, but what else can I do? If I were you, I wouldn't follow my advice, but, I'll share it anyway. After harvesting, I would put the freshly chopped buds in to water cure for 24 hours. Hopefully they will be removed from the bud.
(put the buds in a glass/jar with something on top to keep them submerged under the water.)

I'd be more worried about smoking buds that have been sprayed with neem.

Hey Sis .
Give the buds a good shake and tell yourself they're gone .
Can't do it . = Tell yourself your doing the right thing - Cremating the dead / the lil bastards deserved it .
A bong might be the way to go too . Water filtered .
I myself wouldn't care 1 way or the other . I was in the hospital once to get a cochlear implant and the used a slab w/ a super fukn crazy projection microscope to isolate nerves. They fired that thing up and dialed it down and showed me the crazy shit that lives on our skin = OMG . Crazy Crazy looking stuff running around on us blown up on a 4ft screen on the ceiling gave me the creeps . :wtf: Spider mites are the least of our worries
Peace
Crispi

dude i seriously doubt that there would be any health risks with smoking mite-laced bud. If you can get the majority off, you will be fine. they aren't gonna hurt you...if anything it will just annoy you that they decided to make a home out of your weed.

Thanks so much for the advice everybody- I feel a little better now:stoned:
xcrispi you are so right- if we knew all the creepy-crawlies that were living everywhere, it would put these little mites in perspective! Nasty sucky little buggers are everywhere!
