What the difference between being a member and then being an ACTIVE member?

At the bottom of the main Cannibis.com Forums page, it states members: (number here) and then active members: (number here)

I'm just curious.

probably just the time difference since the last time you logged in. like if you dont use the forums for a month, you are inactive? a month was used just as an example, i dont really know the amount of time.

Members are all that have registered. Active members are those members that have signed on in the last xx days. The number of days is decided by the Administrator via the AdminCP.
