Steinman, I used to live with a roomate named Steinman. Just FYI

Steinman answer me these Q's. How long have u been blooming ur plant or is it still in vegitation?

R u growing outside? i seen the pic was takin outside but u could have just brought it outside for the pic.

Back to ur question. First of all that plant looks alot younger than 2 1/2 months, if it is indeed 2 1/2 months and it is still that small im guessing that ur plant is either so stressed it is not growing to vigerously or maybee u have her in too small of a pot and u r root bound, if so transplant that hot lil' betty ASAP.

Also, u hear dwrong about tying ur plant down like that. U said that u were told to do that in flowering, u actually want to do that in vegitation period in order to produce a bushy plant and cannopy. I bet ur plant was sort of hard to bend over?? This is because the older it gets the more "woody" the plant gets, for lack of better words. Bending ur plant like u did is what i refer to as LST (low stress training) cause ur not cutting the plant at all just bending it around and tying it down. Next time u try to LST start when the plant is about 2-3 weeks old or about 4-5 internodes, IMPORTANT READ: When u LST u want to get the very top of the plant pretty far down, under all of the rest of the other internodes this puts the growth horomones to the highest gow tip, and since the very top grow tip(top of the plant) is almost on the ground the middle of the plant which should now be the highest part on the plant will explode in growth. When I start LST my plants look like a bow (bow and arrow type bow).
After u tie ur plants down and they start exploding with new grow tips u will want to direct them to open parts of the pot, u can tiy them , or use hooks cut out of those wire clothes hangers so i can just stick em in the dirt.

Anyways heres a few pics of my plants i started LST on the 2 weeks into their lives (first 2 pics). They were 3 weeks into bloom in the third pic. And pic 4 was at a month old when they were switched to flowering. Pic 5 is what she looked like right before i cut her down

I Know its alot, but if u read it all it should give u a good start on how to properly and effectively LST ur next plant:thumbsup:

    Goodluck
