I would switch that to both fans blowing out the top, and leave open holes at the bottom. Air will come in by itself. That would double your air flow, but that still might not be enough.

Exactly, that's what I was trying to say, I think I made it sound more complicated though. Passive Intake, Active Exhaust. Besides, if you have an active intake, if the intake should happen to be pushing more air than the exhaust, it makes the carbon filter somewhat useless due to air being blown out of any cracks, etc. Unless you have the closet/cabinet sealed damn good.
