Calyxes are brown, trichomes are cloudy then you cut it down.
You also coul leave a couple of branches with several leafs on them and reveg the plant and force it in to flower again, it will bring you bigger crop.

Pistils are the white hairs on the buds, and they extend from the calyx. The calyx is the tear-drop shaped growth at the nodes; they are the actual 'bud' of the plant. In preflowering, you will see the two pistils coming from the first calyx.

Re-vegging a plant after harvest is typically done as a last-ditch effort to same some genetics. You are definitely better off moving new plants into flower after harvest than you are re-vegging plants to yield again.
