Candle burning=reduce smell????

Candle burning=reduce smell???? i was wondering that along with my ionizers, ona block and other things to reduce odor, i was wondering, NOT in with the system but in the room that the closet is in,,,, do you think if i burn some candles...scented or not, that the burning of candles can help also lessen the smell? just wondering.
