Is anyone here one? I've researched a bit about it but still wonder...how do you find patients to grow for? I think it would be sweet to do this..

Nebraska huh?
Any who, to find a person that is a legal MMJ patient, some of the best ways are go to norml meetings, over at the " Oregon Green Free - Home " forum is for pretty much ppl with their MMJ Cards and to become a real member you have to show proof that you are a card holder. There are meetings where Card Holders meet up, but I don't know much. I know a few people who have cards, and I could go get one in a jiffy with the servre TCS, and PUVS. Both of which I bet no one here can actually figure out what those are (very rare).
But if you want to grow for someone thats a great gift you could do, and someone would be greatly appreiated.

But yeah It's something I have always wanted to do but since my state blows...nuff said. But when I move I'll be good to go, thanks for the info. It's just crazy you can actually do that for someone legally, and not have probs with anyone or anything(or so I hope?)
And no I can't say I know what TCS or PUVS are.
Cool thing would be trying to make the pot as potent as possible, and as fat and juicy to impress.

Yes, Oregon has a very good system compared to Cali, that is getting reeemed with DEA raids and other B.S. crap going on.
Even getting herb on the "black market" is always a friendly transaction and seems to be more of a "hang out" then a actual drug deal.
My brother visited Nebraska, and said it was okay. However you will love it here. In Portland(The biggest city) you a Hour and half away from the great beaches, hour from a mountain that is famous for its ski lodges (Timberline, Meadows, Ski Bowl) and a step or a leap from beautiful wild life and forests that can jaw drop anyone.
Its great here, year round if rain doesn't put you in a bad mood, and the people in town (at least the NE Portland area) are very friendly and great. We have a awesome music scene, with plenty of very unique head shops(3 on Hawthorn all within 50yards of each other). Police here are very lenient, and friendly (One time a cop caught me smoking, asked for my license, called me in for any other crimes, found none, and went on his way taking nothing or asking for nothing) This city and town is great. You will love it here.
Cheers.

that is awesome! just what I wanted to hear. Actually end of April I'm renting a car with some friends and we're road trippin over there, those would be crazy miles for my car. Then we can check out what area I want to live in. I guess Beaverton is supposed to be really nice... but without knowing ppl there to confirm it's hard to tell. I only go by what I see online and on tv so thank's for the inside view n' stuff.
But rain doesn't bother me, it's snow that sucks... lol
especially when you have to put a car away

I'm a patient and caregiver in Oregon.
Connecting patients and growers is one of our hardest challenges.
There are plenty of patients who need growers, but to become a grower, a patient needs to choose you and include you on their paperwork.
The problem is, most patients want a sample before they commit to a grower. This is our medicine, and we want to be sure you can grow enough, and that it will always be high quality.
Don't let this discourage you though. There's always people to help and a way to make it work, and we really do always need new growers.
