See More Buds book, 69 day grow?

So my gf brings this book home and said she thought I would like it. Its actually pretty cool. Its more of a grow journal than anything. One thing though. In the book they are growing some mango and the book shows the grow lasted 69 days, from seed to harvest. I was under the impression that you had to veg your plants for a month before force flowering. And that you had to flower for at least 2 months. That makes the grow 2 months. Now I'm wondering is it possible to grow a strain like mango from seed to harvest in 69 days. I got some bagseed that just hit 19 days in flowering and the buds are small. Is it possible that I can wrap this grow up in the next 20 days? I'm so eager to start my next one NL99. Sorry for babbling on. Any good words from the good people of cannabis.com?

That's a total grow time for a grower starting with clones.
Starting from seed adds at MINIMUM another 6 weeks.
There's no strain that finishes in 39 days. 45 is about as short as they get, and that's unusual. More likely you will need a full 2 months, but it depends on ripeness.

You can harvest your bud quite prematurely and it can still be decent. I have often had to harvest sooner due to problems with my setup and last harvest was after 5 1/2 weeks of harvest and the bud was very decent. I all depends on how well it was grown during the time it had.

take the extra few weeks and let it finish properly you will yeild way more and the high will be uncomparable.

alittle extra time never hurt no one

i believe the nl strain has a mid50 day finishing time and thats good for what you want, your best bet is to find a good mother and clone from that, and flower the clones then you can harvest fresh smoke every 50-60 days, thats the best in my eyes
