Well according to Wikipedia they don't.

    Wikipedia says:

People on this board seem to disagree though. Wikipedia is always thought of as unreliable..:stoned:

Has anyone ever tried ear firecrackers? That'll clean your head out.

Wikipedia may be right and it may be wrong all I know is they worked for me when I tried them, so based on that I highly reccomend them.

Well, we never heard back from bentleygtgirl. I think it's safe to assume she imolated herself and sticking a lit candle in your ear is not a good idea unless you are trying to make a martyr of yourself for a very important cause.

Oh I know what those are now. I have heard of em called sum thin different. They work well for water in the ears that you just cant get out. or when your ears wont pop after a plane ride. I think it works on the pressure difference after the top of the cone is lit. I had smoke signals comming out of my head one time. preaty kool

I've used these when I've had ear infections and found that they helped relieve the pressure and pain. They also sucked a load of nasty infectious gunk out of my ears and afterwards I felt I could hear more clearly. Maybe it is only a placebo effect, but they worked for me.

One of the dangers of using ear candles is that it not only sucks the wax out of your ears, but it also takes a little bit of brain each time.
