    Need advice!

Hey guys I'm new to the forum. I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place so please excuse me if I am.

I've had a couple plants before that turned out nicely. Currently I have 7 seedlings and they are growing quite fast. They are growing so fast that they cant support themselves and I have to prop them up with tooth picks. I have grown other strains that grow at a reasonable rate and have stronger stalk/root system. These are just shooting up like crazy. I'm attaching a picture. Do these look normal or am I doing something wrong. The strain is KG-39. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well if you grown before you should know whats up... First off you have got to transplant them into seperate pots, EACH. Second the only reason I can think of is not enough light so they are stretching... toward the light.

And they are probably kinda attacking eachother for nutrients since they are in the same pot. Honestly I think the roots might be tangled already. Your best bet is to TRY and transplant them seperatly or just yank 3 outa 4 out. Cause there is a very good chance they will die with shock in such a young state.

    Hope it helped.

dude man, move your light wayyyy closer. What light are you using? If its cfl/florescent you want it only a few inches from the top of the plants.
As TDTF says you should have put them in separate pots, you certainly need to do something about that aswell. If starting again isn't an option, I would assume putting them in a MUCH LARGER pot would be a start since the roots are probably to entwined to even begin to separate with out harm.
Also, check out the growing section of the forums and welcome to the boards.

Yeah I have the root thing all figured out. There is a styro foam separator in each pot. They come in two pieces. You just hook them together cut them down and put them in. Fill with soil and let grow. When you are ready to transplant you just yank the separator out and you have 4 cubes 1 each with a plant and it's own root system. It's pretty cool. I use them so I only have to use a couple pots for germination/seedling stage.
As far as the light goes I use a basic 40 watt 3 foot dual plant/aquarium light you can pretty much buy anywhere. It's kinda low tech but I've had some pretty good plants in the past. Just these were shooting up so fast it kinda freaked me out. And yes the light was a little far away from the top of the plants. I think this will fix my problem. Thanks guys.

Yeah I do hope so myself. I was just concerned because 10 seeds for 60 bucks.....Isn't all that cheap and I would like to yield something if you know what I mean.

    Thanks for you comments.
