pot and temper

I work with a guy he's been smoking i'd say 10 years plus. We don't smoke any green (can't afford it) cheap stuff. After he smokes , he loses his temper at the drop of a hat. i smoke the same stuff i get pretty mellow. Do other people out there lose they're temper after they smoke ?

Oh yeah Bro,in high school,I had this Samoan Friend of mine,That I would always avoid smoking around.Cause he would get all Punchy and wanna start drama with people.I enjoy smoking and feeling good,but being around people like that is really shitty.

In the twelve years I've been smoking I have never met anyone that reacted to cannabis in that way. I've known people to get giggly and bouncy, mellow, or even maudlin, but never have I met someone who became angry or irritable. Very strange. Perhaps he is becoming paranoid and that in turn gives him a shorter fuse.

Does your friend just have a bad temper anyway? I do and I can say that I can loose my temper even when medicated, however I don't ever act out in any way. I just get mad and think bad things. Not medicated, I yell and veins pop and it's stupid, I don't know why I feel like an idiot at times.

Another possibility is does he use any other meds or drugs that may be reacting with the bud, or drinking? Everyones reaction is different, even to the exact same smoke. For example, people commonly get couch locked and when I smoke the same kush it's just like I am a young plant and the lights just came on, I perk up and get involved. Different strokes for different folks.

I've been acquainted with two folks who lost their tempers more easily after smoking. The vast majority of others have all been more mellow in response.

Cannabis works on both excitatory and inhibitory nerve signals, affecting neurotransmitters that help send and receive those signals in several ways. And it works differently in different people. Then, of course, different strains affect people differently, too. It makes sense to me that, because it has lots of different types of actions, what could mellow 8 people out of 10 might unleash the less-than-mellow side of the remaining 2 (or however many). Other drugs can do the same thing.

I'm betting it's like PB said. It just unleashes his inner butthole tendencies as it works its unique "magic" in his brain, probably lowering his inhibitions. I believe I'd gravitate toward other friends to smoke with!
