Want to grow

yeah I really want to grow because I can't spend alot of money on weed, because I don't have money. I can pay with PayPal but I can't find a seller online. and fuck that "legal" shit.

So my question is there a way to make the plant small, not going to sell it just want a plant for personal smoking. The other bad thing is my dad is a Sheriff, he doesn't mind so much that I smoke but whould really care if he found a plant. So I don't want a 4 foot plant in my room. I have a place to grow but it's probably only 2 1/2 feet tall.

And when growing when it starts budding does it smell really bad (but so so sweet) like bud?

I have a lamp I am going to use and watering is not a problem, so just keeping it descrete is what I want.

First of all, DK, regardless of how old you are...if you're going to grow marijuana in your parents house, you had better ask for permission first and get a resounding "OK" from anyone who may live there. If you are as old as you say you are, you won't have much time before everyone on the school playground knows you're hiding a pot plant in your sock drawer, and word gets to people with authority. People who can screw up your life, and your dads, royally.

Secondly...if you're really only eight years old, quit getting high and just be a damn kid. Go to school, get decent grades, be good to your parents. You've got all of your adult life to make these kinds of decisions, most of which require that you actually be an adult to even make. Nobody is being hateful to you, either. You're too young to really even be sneaking around and going to cannabis websites, much less asking for grow advice while there.

I would guess that maybe he omitted the '1' which would make him 18, but who knows. It's been covered, but I have to chime in as it's completely asinine to grow in your parents' house, especially when you know that they disapprove.

On a sidenote, it's a shame that there is a sheriff out there that overlooks your transgression. Do you think it is only because you are his child? or does he let law-breakers slide all over the place?

i doubt an 8 year old would make any decently detailed posts. hes probably 16 or so and 8 is a joke.....

even so, it brings up why this site needs an age limit? its an illegal drug at all ages, so why need the limit anyhow?

realistically, you could grow in 2 1/2 feet headspace using sog methods (but only 1-3 plants).

flower them when they reach about a half-foot tall and use cfl lights to keep down heat. you could look into low-growing plants (lowryder) as another route.

the smell would be dependent on its heath and strain. the bigger, juicer plants they are, the more theyll smell. but some strains are very moderate, and only detectable within several feet of the plants.

Because the creators of this site are trying hard to make this a reputable and accurate source of information on the topic. Let's say you're fifteen, and living at home with your parents...you shouldn't be growing. Period. You should be going to school and getting an education, and not wasting time and space by possibly posting false information to others who need help. Most of the growers here own their own homes, and thus are entitled to make grown-up decisions, and be able to come to a reliable grown-up website when they need answers to their questions.

Realistically, this would be tough to do. The only time I ever flowered clones immediately after rooting they were still each about 3" tall with the appropriate pots and everything.

The OP came in here with a bit of an attitude, and asked how he could do a half-assed job at hiding a small marijuana grop-op from his dad, who also happens to be a sheriff. It doesn't matter how old he is, really, because he's still living in someone else's home and is wanting to manufacture an illegal substance without the homeowners knowing. This is why the experienced growers decided not to contribute advice that would most likely just end up getting him in trouble.
