Cannabis storyline currently in Emmerdale

Any Emmerdale fans out there? Probably not eh, I like it and Corrie though, they both make me laugh.

Anyway, I just though our UK viewers might like to know there is a cannabis storyline going on at the moment. No idea what it's about, one of the Dingles is dealing I think. Since I can't watch it as I am in Holland I wondered if anyone here is following it and can let me know if they are portraying cannabis in a good or a bad light?

My money is on bad.

I do miss my weekly dose of Emmerdale though...

They don't even let you catch up on it on the website if you are outside the UK.

Yeah we watch Emmerdale, so far its not portraying it either way really, they really need to get some research done on growing though, so far its been from cuttings to crop in less than 2 weeks in a poly tunnel.
Last night Eli Dingle was on the phone to a customer telling him "I am making your order up now" taking the buds straight from the plant into a paper bag then sending Sam straight round to the customer with it and charging him £150.00 for a small bag of wet bud, glad I don't live in Yorkshire LOL.

Someone told me about that. I watched one episode and seriously concidered writing to C4. But whats the point?

Whenever cannabis is portrayed on TV it's badly. The writers need a boot in the head - or a bullet.

LOL if anyone was going to grow some weed and sell in Emmerdale is was going to be Eli Dingle. Can't wait until the episode where Chadrak accidentally eats some, inevitably that will happen, shame I wont see it though. Yeah I know about that site LIP, but sadly it only gives you a short narrated update of each episode, and as if that wasn't bad enough, following on in the style of BBC iPLayer and 4 on demand, it is only available in the UK...

You know I'd be willing to pay a nominal subscription fee for Emmerdale and Corrie, that's how sad I am! Ha!

UK soaps these days are basically following in the footsteps of the old 70's and 80's "how's your father, nudge nudge" style sitcoms, there are a lot of actors from those days now playaing parts in them.

Thanks for the update NCM, it's not really the same if I can't watch it though. I'm sure that by the time I come home again there'll be a few more Dingles moved into the farm if Eli goes down.
