    Why did they stop growing?

I started 2 northern lights, and 2 white widow....its been 10 days since i started germinating...my white widow seeds have just started germinating a little bit today...my northern lights germinated within a day and i planted them...first day there was nothing, from the time i checked before bed, till when i came home from work the next day my northern lights had sprouted a whole inch...i was so happy...that was last friday...since then they havnt grown at all, its been a whole week....is this normal? this is my first grow so i have no experience, i just thought it was odd they would sprout an inch in like 15 hours, and then not grow at all for the next week :wtf:

Yep, lighting will help decide if there is a problem or not. After the sprouts...sprout, there generally is a period of time when the root system is getting established and above ground growth is minimal.

okay maybe thats all it is...light should not be a problem, i have 4 42 watt cfls and 1 23 watt....they look like they are unhealthy today though, the leaves are starting to curl downwards and on one of them the bottom leaves are turning yellow...my guess is its too dry...i water them everyday once or twice sometimes 3 times (just a tiny bit each time) and everyone always says that the biggest problem most the time is over watering...does yellow leaves and curling leaves sound like its caused from over watering? its very dry in the cab, humidity is only 25%, and the temp is around 31...im trying to fix that, i keep 2 bowls of water sitting in there to help raise the humidity but it still stays at 25%...im also working on trying to lower the temp...the temp is always changing...from around 25 or higher during the day to the low 30's at night...the reson for that is the cab is in my bedroom so i can open the window and let cold air in when im awake, but need to close it all but an inch when im sleeping so i dont freeze...is it possibly stressing them? i wouldnt think so cause temperture would be constantly changing if they were planted outdoors....any suggestions on how to keep the humidity high and my babies happy is much appreciated

Sounds like perhaps your soil is too hot for seedlings and they might be burning. Do you have a photo?
