If a helicopter was to fly over my house with heat detection, would a STEEL roof like the newer Log Cabin Mountain Land Style houses are being constructed with, be enough to keep things safe?

Doesn't mean they won't use them, bro. Sure they can't use them in a court, or to obtain a search warrant, but once they've found you they'll just find other means to bust you. You can never be too careful. If you are that worried about heli's use thermal shielding in your grow room.

Lemme search my back issues of High Times cuz I remember reading a small article on a product that you place on your walls, like Mylar, that will help shield your grow from residual heat to the outside world. Unless someone posts with a link I'll get back to ya tomorrow. Can't tonight cuz I'm at a bar right now DJing off my laptop.
