How stupid one acts typically isn't related to the quantity of cells that compose their brain but the general behavioral patterns and relatively little knowledge they've picked up. I think the reason some people act like retards while high is because they try so hard not to look like retards every day but when they're stoned they forget how to do that or just feel more comfortable being their true dumb selves. The fact of the matter is that the claim that cannabis decreases mental abilities is not upheld by any credible scientific research.

If you've been getting less sharp than you used to be, you shouldn't blame it on a plant. It's up to you how to manage your time, and if you spend more of it smoking and less of it reading that's what you can expect.
