It sounds like a calyx with two pistils. Look for the pictures on this forum about how to sex, but if it looks teardrop-shaped with two little white hairs coming from the pointed end, they're female preflowers.

I've got six plants growing and all were planted at close to the same time, one of them got to be about 9 inches tall and stopped growing for like 3 weeks so I just decided to top it just to experiment. It worked and 2 new growths sprouted and started to grow normal again. A couple days later I noticed that its starting to flower at only 10 inches tall. Any idea if its just preflower or could I have made it a hermi? Rating: 5
