Seems like an odd test? Anyone? Googled it...nada. Forum search...all that BS about not enough info in the search string.


9 Drugs. 100ng/ml cutoff for weed? There was also SAP 10-50 w/ NIT but they didn't check that one. Very confused...I'll write more when I have time.

Got the answer on the test. 9 drugs, with various cutoffs but with the same ole' 50ng/ml for THC. Had a nightmarish morning. Practiced dilution 4 times...then for some reason this morning, things weren't the same. Did everything by the book but wasn't peeing at all. Haven't been drinking booze since last weekend. Tried to stay hydrated through the yesterday...maybe just nerves.

Next...got the Urinator setup w/ Dr. Johns..15 minutes before I was leaving I was strapping it on and the cap came off...Dr. John's everywhere. Thank god for backups. Grabbed my QF, slammed in in the microwave, strapped on the heat pad and left 15 min. late. Had to drive 85mph (I hate speeding) to get to the test on time.

Got to the test...nurse did all kinds of checks, etc, etc. Got into the bathroom alone, tried to pee in the blue water...nada. Counted to ten, dumped my QF, temp was good.

She did a PH test and then packaged up a single sample to go to Quest. Any idea as to whether or not it will be immunoassay or GC/MS? The single sample thing is making me think it may go straight to GC/MS? Yes? No?

Anyways...was told I will have results tomorrow afternoon. Ugh..what a morning.

Sec...I was just told on another forum that I'm screwed if I used synthetic on an SAP-9 test. Can you explain why that would be? I just thought I was out of the woods and now I'm back in a hole again.

No you're safe but wrong. One vial doesn't mean straight to GC/MS. Why does everyone think companies want to waste money. One vial usually means no split sample, no split sample means you can't pay for a second lab to retest your donation. Immunoassay is significantly cheaper than GC/MS and almost as accurate so why waste the money and cut into profits? They use GC/MS to verify non negative immunoassay results, that's it.

Are you sure she checked the pH? That sounds odd.


I'm not so sure that you didn't get the 100 ng/ml cutoff on immunoassay for THC which would be easier to pass but regardless, you gave them a liquid that has no drugs in it and passes all validity tests. They can test for 5 drugs or 200, it doesn't matter. Why sweat it so much? That's why I knew I could drop the people's elbow on you and get a good laugh and normally I get on people about messing with posters in the drug testing forum but I can see you are checking the thread often so I thought for 20 minutes, what the hell.

No, you didn't cheat on cheat on me. I post there too and some of them post here too. It's all good. But I am adding an edit to one of the posts, check it out in a minute.

I didn't anticipate the board jamming up for 10 minutes though!

I do that about once every 100 drug testing posts and it's all about timing. Sec actually likes my warped sense of humor most of the time as I usually wait to get those after they have tested and are waiting so there's no harm done except for the gray hairs I just gave you.
