I hallucinated an evil imp hiding in a tree once. It felt like he was looking straight into my black heart. Really fucking weird.

I can't believe I found you. I've never talked to anyone else who's had this hallucination. The weird part about mine was that the series of images was a pattern and would repeat itself over and over again. I first started seeing it with my eyes closed, got up to get a drink of water and continued to see the images flashing, superimposed on everything I saw. Weirdest was while looking in the mirror. I stopped smoking for a while afterwards, because the hallucination came with some intense anxiety. In my less than rational state, I decided that this was what people meant by seeing one's life flash before one's eyes.... The next ten or so times I smoked, I had recurrences or flashbacks or, I don't know what to call them, but I saw the same string of images on repeat.

The nice part was that I could, during subsequent hallucinations, control my anxiety to the point where I could study the images and start to memorize the pattern. It was kind of beautiful. I came up with this theory that each one of those images was my first recognition of something about the world that is important to me (one is a picture of my childhood home, one a four of spades, another my sister's face, and one was this sweet old blue chair I had as a kid that looked like a crayola crayon and could be opened up and used as storage... there were a lot more but I don't remember them). Everything that I've encountered later in life falls into one of those categories. When I meet someone I like a whole lot, I may verbally categorize them as a friend, but I'm really categorizing them under the heading that is that image of my sister's face. etc. etc.

This is most probably total crap, but who knows? Maybe not. Nice to know someone else has seen this or something similar.

never hallucinated, but had trippy effects of my mind playing tricks. nothing psychedelic though.

started a poll on this before though, if you're interested: Has Cannabis ever caused you to hallucinate?

Wow man I've had this aswell.. only ever once, but I found that if I focused on a particular object nearby, then closed my eyes I saw the object repeated in a flowing never ending patern... closest thing I could compare it to would be a kaleidoscope - It was trippy as fuck but I managed to keep on top of it so it was a beautiful experience. Never had it since

    Peace :smokin:
